We are a small in home breeder based in Brisbane QLD, proudly part of the ‘Genetic Action Plan for Brachycephalic Breeds DVL2 Elimination Program’. Working together with the MDBA and fellow breeders to eliminate the DVL2 gene (screw tail gene), and improve the health of our favourite breed worldwide. This is massive positive change for health and the future of the breed. The DVL2 gene doesn’t only affect the tail and spine, there are many other benefits linked to eliminating this gene. All of our breeding dogs are negative/ clear/ unaffected of the ADAMTS3 (Airways Oedema) gene. This gene contributes to breathing issues by causing swelling (Oedema) in the airways.

The number one focus and vision of my program will always be the health of my dogs, as I aim to breed out/ away from the many health issues the breed can be faced with. All of our dogs are very much loved and spoilt family members who spend their days living their best lives free range- there are no kennels here. They are extensively health tested throughout their lives including CT scans to assess spine, hip, and trachea ratios, airways examination, and extensive DNA testing. Our puppies are raised in a loving family environment with children and other pets, with Early Neural Stimulation and Puppy Culture protocols. Our puppy families have our lifetime breeder support, and many of our babies come back to visit while their families enjoy holidays throughout the year. Transport is easily organised for puppy families Australia wide.

We are working to increase CFR (cranial facial ratio), improve structure and build, and breed healthy dogs with great spines and ZERO hemivertebrae. We hope to reach 0 copy DVL2 dogs in the not too distant future, where we’ll be able to guarantee ZERO Hemivertibrae in offspring.
