Jae Australian Cobberdog parents have DNA health testing completed to ensure the health of our puppies. We have several registered therapy dogs and we breed for temperament. We are NOT a kennel, wholesaler of dogs, or a pet shop. All our dogs and puppies are our pets raised inside our loving home. They are very well socialized with people and other animals. We work with the MDBA to preserve and protect the true nature, lineage and genetic makeup of this great breed. The Australian Cobberdog is a great therapy and service dog, easily trained medical alert dog, and overall excellent family companion. They have the ability to make the humans in its life feel that it has a unique intuition, a mutual connection and that it can display an appropriate response to their emotional and physical needs.

We also offer whelping assistance & raising services for any small-medium breed of dog servicing Perth SOR. I have plenty of hands on experience in both free whelping & cesarean/emergency deliveries. Happy to come to your home to care for your brood & whelps or can care for them at my own home. Difficult or first time mums not a problem. 
Confident bottle/tube feeding & medicating post op mums or failing pups. Sole purpose built whelping room & an isolation area. Certification in sanitising/hygiene procedures & all products used are veterinarian grade. I have a humidicrib oxygen & all the supplies needed to surrogate pups.

We are a very experienced & health focused registered French Bulldog breeder following the Australian Veterinary Association Brachycephalic Breeding policy. We are the home of West Australias first screwtail gene (DVL2) elimination puppies.

We are very proud to be apart of the Master Dog Breeders and Associates genetic action plan for the DVL2 elimination program!! We have been working together with the MDBA and a handful of other like minded breeders to eliminate the screw tail gene (DVL2). This is part of the MDBA’s genetic action plan for Brachycephalic Breeds which is going to be of huge benefit to the future of the French Bulldog. The screwtail gene doesn’t only affect the tail and spine, there are so many other benefits that will come from eliminating this gene.

The main goal and vision for my breeding programme has always - and will always be focused around the health of my dogs and the dogs i produce. I am hoping to be able to produce some DVL2 cleared dogs in the very near future, where we will ll be able to guarantee ZERO Hemivertibre in those dogs! We are also working on eliminating the CDDY gene, which is the chromosome responsible for early onset of degenerative conditions in the intervertabral discs (IVDD)
