Hi I'm Lisa, a small Miniature Dachshund breeder in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. My dogs are my everything. My aim is to breed and raise confident and healthy puppies that will fill the lives of their forever families with so much joy and love. Building a solid foundation for my puppies is so important by exposing them to different sights and sounds in a positive and comforting way. My puppies are raised in our loving home with my four human children.

Our puppies are raised in our loving home with my four children. We set up a solid foundation for our puppies with our ESI (early scent introduction) and ENS (early neurological stimulation) program.
This program begins at three days old for the first two weeks of life. This is a program that introduces mild stresses to very young puppies in a controlled way. These stresses help stimulate the neurological system which improves the growth and development of the pup's immune system, cardiovascular system, and stress tolerance.

Once the puppies have opened their ears and eyes we begin to introduce them to a wide range of sights and sounds. This is done in a way that fosters their confidence and social development. We make sure that no puppy is placed under stress and are able to learn and develop at their own pace,
An example of these include vacuum cleaner, hair drier and Thermomix. We also expose the puppies to the garbage truck and make sure they are introduced to sounds such as fireworks and thunder.
As well as novel, everyday items, such as boxes, baby wipes, balloons and different toys.

All puppies are handled with care and love from an early age building up to being comfortable with bathing, regular ear cleaning and nail trimming.

The puppies will also be introduced to the crate and crate training from four weeks old as well as learning how to use a doggy door and have the freedom to move between inside and outside when needed.

All of these experiences are done with love and affection ensuring that every experience is a positive one for the puppies.

We follow a series of programs that enable us to raise puppies with Therapy Dog careers in mind. We are a Therapy Dog Australia Educated breeder and all puppies will receive a discount on the Therapy Dogs Australia puppy program which is an invaluable resource to have.
