In home, ethical and health focused breeder aimed at meeting the AVA's recommended standards and guidelines. MDBA are leading the way to bring the French Bulldog Breed back to its former glory in regards to health. This is being achieved with constant research and education. In addition to the current diseases being genetically screened for in the French Bulldog Breed by Orivet (DNA) Australia, we are also screening all our breeding dogs using Dog Breeding Science (Australia) to screen for

ADAMTS3 (airway oedema gene) and DVL2 (screw tail gene)

We also spinal and hip Xray all our breeding dogs and hope to soon be able to guarantee hemivertebrae free Frenchies in the near future by eliminating the screw tail gene, so far we have had excellent results.

Bred as a companion dog, the French Bulldog is friendly and playful.
